Birthdays are always occasions that have people on the lookout for unique gifts and decorations – which obviously, personalisation is perfect for! Here, we explore a number of ideas and products to give you plenty of inspiration on ways that you can market into this area…

When it comes to Birthdays, designs based on the Star Signs, Zodiac animals, birth stones, and birth flowers are often popular! These kinds of designs can be placed onto so many products, allowing you to appeal to a wider range of customers.

Crazy Cake Toppers!

We have just revamped our Cake Toppers and added lots of new styles to choose from! They are now split up by theme – Weddings, Christmas, Numbers, and Birthdays/Celebrations – this should make it easy to locate what you need if you have a particular idea in mind. The Cake Toppers are a fantastic addition to any cake and can be personalised with photos and names. Even going with a more generic “Happy Birthday” design will allow the topper to be used across multiple occasions!

From circles, hexagons, and hearts to dinosaurs, dogs, flowers, cars, and motorbikes – if you’re throwing a themed party then we should hopefully have a cake topper to match! And if we don’t then feel free to get in touch and put in your request and we will see if we can sort it for you. Just be aware that the spikes on the toppers are very sharp, so please ensure that you and your customers handle them with care.

 

Birthday Cards and Gifts!

Greetings cards are a lovely idea for a keepsake that the recipient can display proudly. Gifting one made with metal for special occasions and milestones, will make someone’s day that extra bit more special! Keep an eye on the listing as we will soon be adding a helpful video which shows you how to put our awesome card together. Alternatively, if you’re into traditional card crafting, try combining our medium, small, or tiny shapes with card, to create some brilliant and unique keepsake cards! Attaching one of our badges to the front of the card makes it even more special – incorporating a wearable, personalised gift with the card! Remember, this idea isn’t just for Birthdays either…

 

We have a new Cake Shape that has just launched! It is a three tier cake and has tons of design potential – not just for Birthdays, it is also great for Weddings and Anniversary celebrations (we also have a version available as a Cake Topper!).

The Happy Birthday Plaque is now available on our A5 Cut Above listing! This would be great as a unique greetings card when printed up with a celebration message, or you could create a photo collage as a keepsake to celebrate fun birthday memories!

Our Jewellery Display Cards have become a popular product since we launched them! We have just added the option for a centre hole, which will allow you to attach pin badges or brooches. The Jewellery Card is the perfect companion to a gift as it provides even more print area to personalise!

Birthday Badges!

Obviously we’re focusing in on using these badges primarily for Birthdays, but don’t let that restrict your creativity – there are loads of other uses too! Think about products such as fun name badges for conventions and gatherings, sport award keepsakes, competition prizes, retirement dos, and club membership pins.

The Number Badges are ideal for special milestone Birthdays! They are a bigger sized badge which has the number sitting above a plaque, offering a nice amount of print room for names and ‘Happy Birthday’ messages. These badges are also custom cut, which means you can choose whichever number you want! Consider also using these badges for wedding anniversaries and long service awards. For some fancier occasions, like weddings, you may not want clothes to be marked with pin backs (or for safety, for children to wear) – we offer a 2 part magnetic badge fitting as an ideal alternative for these badges.

The Budget Pin Badges are available in 4 sizes: 3 rectangular variations and one circular. For most of the sizes there is a choice of colour between silver and gold, plus a choice between a few of our metal finishes for the insert. We also have Luxury Gift Sets featuring our badges plus self adhesive polydomes available that are clear – both give the printed badge an extra touch of luxury!

Fancy Shaped Badges!

We have pulled together a selection of our Small and Medium shapes that we think would work nicely as badges for Birthdays (but also for numerous other occasions!).

We offer the choice between the 30mm badge pin back, 38mm slimline badge pin back, or the circular pin with clutch back (all self adhesive) to finish off your badge. We recommend that you choose the badge backing depending on the size of shape you have selected as some sizes will not accommodate all the badge backs. Opting for the circular pin and clutch back allows you to create fun pins to go on jackets, bags, or pin boards as well as being used for Birthday badges! We also have a new Police Badge and Sheriff Badge shape available on this listing!

Some new pin badges with inserts are now available on our website! We have 3 colours of star badges (gold, silver, and bronze) all complete with a printable insert, in white or matching colours, for you to personalise however you wish.
