Exciting Hardware and Drinkware News 🎉
Firstly, we have some exciting new developments to share!
We are adding to our range a fabulous selection of Craft Express Heat Presses and Sawgrass Printers (including the brand new hybrid ink VersiFlex printer), plus associated accessories including Sawgrass Ink and Sublimation Marker Pens! Alongside this hardware we will be extending our range to include other popular metal blanks like drinkware – from stainless steel white or silver coffee mugs and travel mugs or tumblers – to other metal items that complement our range such as sports whistles and office staplers. We are launching many of these on our www.craftimetals.co.uk site first (remember products on this site are aimed at hobbyists so prices include VAT if you are checking out them out!) and they will appear on our Subli Metals site very soon too – be sure to check out our socials for videos of them in action over the next few weeks!
We have also been busy looking at our Jewellery Section on the website and making a few changes that we think you’ll love – including adding a whole load of our newest metal finishes and thicknesses such as Matt and Double Sided – to the most popular and best selling shapes!
Finally, we’re glancing back over some of the ideas for Birthdays that we put forward in our last newsletter, to get your creative juices flowing…

Exciting New Developments…
We’re very happy to announce that we are able to offer a fabulous range of professional heat presses, printers, and printing accessories!
The Craft Express Heat Presses are beautifully designed for ease of use and practicality at amazing price points for their ergonomic and professional level of build. The range includes small and medium handheld starter presses for hobbyists or for the professional as a backup economic, quick-to-heat-up press for small items, samples, and tests or even hard to get at areas on items like clothing. It moves through standard flat bed presses with easy to operate drawer systems for easy loading (available in a variety of flatbed sizes from A4 to A2 approx.), to a full range of mug and tumbler presses, that are again designed to be easy to use and built to last. Finally we will also be offering a selection of their ‘do-it-all’ combo presses, with various accessories covering all manner of items from caps to pens!
Sawgrass Printers are the market leaders in sublimation ink printers, having pioneered sublimation desktop printing from its original development. Renowned for their ‘out of the box’ ease of use, with built in colour correction software, they are the professional choice for convenience, with lifetime Sawgrass tech support included. Not resting on their laurels, they have now developed a new ‘hybrid ink’ system called VersiFlexTMthat features ink that will work on sublimation paper for sublimation items but will also transfer onto light coloured clothing (think cotton t-shirts!) and porous surfaces that are uncoated like natural wood, when printed and pressed from a special VersiFlexTM paper! This innovative system is only available at present through a small selection of retailers – and we are one of them!

We’re also selling sublimation marker pens – perfect for creative projects when a printer or computer aren’t available (or wanted!) like at a fundraiser. We’ll be covering how these work in more detail soon… And we plan to add more consumables to our range including inks and new metal blanks including drinkware! We’ll email out further details and links to these as soon as we’ve added them.
Jewellery Updates!
We now have 5 ‘Best Seller Jewellery Shapes‘ listings which contain a range of our most popular standard shapes and sizes for use in jewellery (Rectangles, Ovals, Circles, Semi-circles and Teardrops, Diamonds, and Rings!). We hope that by regrouping these products, with more thickness and colour options, it will become even easier for you to see what we offer so you can pick and choose based on what you think your customers will love.
To give you the widest choice, we have made available on these listings our full range of Single and Double Sided 0.5mm, 0.7mm, and 1mm metal thicknesses in a selection of colours including: White, Brushed Silver, Brushed Gold, Satin Silver, and Matt finishes. We have handpicked these finishes as we think they will make the most beautiful pieces of jewellery! But for ultimate customisation, there’s also options to choose custom and request any of our other colours not listed. The listings also offer various hole options, along with a few optional extra jewellery accessories – such as necklace chains, earring hooks, and jump rings. We sell a larger selection of these accessories in packs in the Bracelets and Necklaces section too!
Watch out too, for further additions in the Pendant and Charm Shapes section, as we add luxury 1mm versions of our fancy shapes (like Christmas, Animals, Natural, etc.) in the near future!
Birthdays!
Birthdays are the ideal occasions for personalised gifts and decorations! Designs based on the star signs, Zodiac animals, birth stones, and birth flowers are often popular. These kinds of designs can be placed onto so many products, allowing you to appeal to a wider range of customers.
Cake Toppers in particular are fun products, and we now have loads of shapes to choose from (especially for themed parties or specific interests!). Personalising them with photos and names creates a brilliant keepsake, whereas printing them up with more generic “Happy Birthday” designs allows them to be used across multiple occasions!
Badges are a fantastic way to commemorate a milestone Birthday, and we have a few different options to choose from. The Number Badges, Budget Pin Badges, Fancy Shaped Badges, and Fancy Shaped Pin Badges with Inserts are all perfect as little gifts.
