Happy New Year! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season.
If you’ve been keeping up with us on social media, then you might have seen that we have now officially moved into our new premises! It was a big move, but our amazing staff did a brilliant job with staying on top of orders so that you wouldn’t be affected during that time.
We’re looking ahead to Valentine’s and Mother’s Day in this issue, with a few new and updated products to show, while our Project is all about our fantastic metal stands (which are also the free gift!), produced in house, we have priced them extremely keenly to add huge value to your printed metal items! Read how you can use them to elevate your products to the next level.
Some other good news – to help with the ever increasing cost of living, we are reviewing our costs to see if we can get better prices from our suppliers to pass on to you – we have started with our Tin section (as we also have a new supplier with a few new sizes!) and have managed to lower some prices already, firstly of our shallow flat rectangular ones – and we’ll continue to monitor and adjust where we can 🙂

Throughout January and February you will receive one of our brilliant metal stands with your order! This stand is perfect for A6 to A4 sized items (and we also have stands available for A3 sized items too!). Seasonal/Marketing Ideas
It’s the beginning of another year which means that once again, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day are just around the corner! This is the perfect time to start showing off ideas for personalised gifts to your customers…
Our brand new Luxury Jewellery Card Gift Set is perfect for either of these occasions! Choose a jewellery card from our brilliant array of colours and a tin to accompany it. We also offer the option to add one of our lovely pendants to complete the set.
Slotting alongside our newly updated Shamrock (clover) shape in our Heritage Section is the new Thistle Shape! As the national flower of Scotland it is perfect for Scottish themed products, but is also ideal for anyone who loves the garden!
Product Showcase – Hearts!
We have 4 styles of heart shapes – traditional, puffy, classic, and folk (newly updated) which we are featuring as our special offer items for January and February this year!
Each style is available in a number of sizes, allowing you to create whatever product you would like for a range of occasions including (but not limited to) Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Birthdays! We now also offer a version of our Classic Large Heart in a 2.2mm thickness bauble (we are also enabling the 20% discount on this product in Jan/Feb as an introductory offer!)
There is the option to add an MDF back to any of the hearts – medium sized or larger. You can create a luxury decoration or keyring/bag tag using the MDF…
We offer the hearts in a range of finishes including our 0.5 mm Double Sided White and Bright Silver which are brilliant for hanging decorations or keyrings!
Meet The Team!
Caroline is in charge of the shapes and she runs our specialist machines here at Subli Metals. She is a very organised member of the team – her stock areas are exceptionally organised! As well as cutting all the shapes, Caroline has a creative mind and is often coming up with new ideas for shapes.
Best Accomplishment: Caroline says her family – her three daughters Harriet, Charlotte, and Eliza and her husband Nick.
Favourite Sport: Caroline is more of a creative person and doesn’t follow sport.
Favourite Food: Roast Dinners.
Favourite Activities: Bike Rides, Walking, Camping, Baking, and Cooking.
Favourite Music: Shania Twain, Adele, and Elvis.
Em is the second longest serving member of staff here at Subli Metals, and if Em doesn’t know it in the workshop then it doesn’t exist! She is very hard working and the go to for every new member of staff we have taken on. Em puts together the manual cut products for your orders and cuts the stock. She is always busy keeping the place organised!
Best Accomplishment: Completing a 274 mile walk in memory of her Brother-In-Law and completing her first tandem skydive earlier this year.
Favourite Sport: Football and Swimming.
Favourite Food: Roast Beef Dinner and Chinese Takeaway.
Favourite Activities: Swimming and learning new languages – Em is currently learning Spanish and Latvian.
Favourite Music: Ed Sheeran and David Guetta.
