Happy New Year – Welcome to 2023!

We’re ready to launch into the New Year with you and we have some exciting new projects and ideas to come this year – more to tell you soon!

We are kicking the year off with a project on Weddings – very special occasions that deserve some beautiful products (and we’re in good time for Wedding Season!). We include lots of ideas to use our existing products as Wedding themed items and keepsakes! The Love theme continues (sorry!) as we cover Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Anniversaries in our seasonal section too.

Our newly formed Design Team have contributed some fabulous items to these projects. We launched this team late last year as a team combining our in-house designers and a few keen customers to trial and hone the idea, and so far it has been a great success! So we may be looking for more members to join this team this year – so watch this space for more info!

In our important dates below we have added an extended Easter Shutdown – in our effort to improve work/life balance for us and our staff we are closing the 3 days after Easter Monday, to help out our staff with children, but also give us all a much needed spring break – we will be in contact in the weeks leading up to remind you of our closure and give you plenty of warning to get stocked up ahead.

• Our Easter Shutdown – Friday 7th April to Friday 14th April (We re-open Monday 17th April!)

January/February Free Gift

Our first Free Gift of 2023 is a Token Set in an organza bag! Print up this cute little inexpensive 8 circle gift set as a ‘token’ of love for your ‘bestie’ – be it a friend, soulmate or relative – great gift ideas for any occasion or they could be given as keepsakes at weddings, or as incentives for children – they can earn tokens for chores and swap them for screen time! There are many, many ways of marketing them (check our project for more!)

Customer ‘Share To Win’ Photos

In this issue’s Share To Win we have Missy Printing’s lovely Anniversary Plaque using our A4 Ricoh Standard Aluminium Sheet. This is a lovely way to celebrate a happy couple on their anniversary, and it is something permanent they can keep around their house! This can be personalised with names, photos, and even treasured memories.

We also have Roisin Toner’s beautiful Wedding Countdown plaque, using our A5 Ricoh Standard Aluminium sheet. A fantastic way to keep track of time before the big day, this plaque is a wonderful idea and also doubles up as a keepsake from the special day – especially when personalised!

Seasonal/Marketing Ideas

Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day are coming up in February and March respectively, and offering beautiful personalised gifts to your customers for the occasion is a great idea!

Consider practical gifts such as bookmarks for the avid reader, keyrings, or a lovely piece of jewellery. Our Heart Shapes also make beautiful fridge magnets and hanging decorations that can be printed up with a heartfelt message or poem for Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day.

Anniversaries are also a great market for personalised keepsakes. Whether it’s a 1 year or 50 year anniversary, special keepsakes to celebrate the couple and commemorate their Wedding Day can make the perfect gifts!

Our A5 Triptych Set and A7 Triptych Set are wonderful products that can be personalised with photos of the couple – you could use the panels to create a story of memories that progresses with the photos, and even mix in some lovely quotes.

We have some brand new shapes that slot nicely into the theme of products for love including: a Daisy Shape, Doily Shape, Tudor Rose Shape, and Leaf Shape! The Leaf is available in 3 styles, including a notched leaf that can double as a pine cone, the Tudor Rose can be printed as a flower or the Yorkshire or Lancashire Rose – so many design possibilities! These would make lovely jewellery charms, brooches, or even note cards as an alternative to giving a normal card! Plus of course they can be combined with all our other lovely flower, flowerpot, basket and wreath shapes – so very useful!

If you encounter a problem with your order, please fill in our Shortage, Damage, or Incorrect Item Notification Form found on our Website under the Info tab in the top bar. Add it to the cart and check out with ‘local pickup’ so that you are not charged.

Filling this in ensures that the report of a problem is not missed and we have all the info to rectify the problem for you as quick as possible. It also allows us to track returns and any potential recurring issues.

Combining Products!

While all of our products work great as stand alone items, consider ways in which you can combine some of our products to create truly unique products to market to your customers!

Horseshoe with Hanging Heart

Our Horseshoe Shapes were just recently launched at the close of last year. They are available in 3 different styles allowing for a lot of versatility with designs and themes. Our Heart Shapes are ever popular and are available in 4 different styles – Traditional, Puffy, Classic, and Folk!

This brilliant idea combines our Large Traditional Heart with our XXL A5 Horseshoe with holes to make a beautiful decoration and keepsake! The heart has been attached to the horseshoe using ball chain through the 2 holes at the top of the heart, looping it into 2 of the horseshoe holes. The example pictured has been designed with a Wedding in mind, and this would make a really special decoration for the occasion.

You can use any type of hanging material you want – we offer a choice of ball chain, ribbon, natural twine, and picture string. The example has used a mix of ball chain and picture string. This idea could easily be used in different ways – as a pet decoration for any horse owners, or as a commemorative gift for good luck or moving to a new house!

Some of our items are even designed especially to be combined – the Horseshoe is available as a filled Horseshoe and a classic outline horseshoe (with or without holes) – combine the two by overlaying the outline horseshoe over the filled for a special 3D effect using at least 2 layers of 3D foam pads – see our Giant A4 Horseshoe, printed up as a special keepsake of our bosses, Nicci and Carl, on their beautiful horses!
