Summer is finally upon us and it is lovely to be enjoying warmer weather and longer days whilst gradually seeing the world return to normal.
Thank you for being patient on the run up to Father’s Day, it is our second busiest time after Christmas and seemingly must be for you, our lovely customers too! Whilst keeping busy we are looking forward to the summer of sport ahead and we even made our own Euro Schedule to keep track of the games using our Magnetic Steel Board!
Although it is only July, we have packed this issue with lots of new ideas and shapes to help you prepare early for Halloween and Christmas! Because we all know how quick these summer months fly!

She took inspiration from our Small square collage kit and really went to town using different sizes from our range of square metal. !! It’s a fabulous piece! Schools Out!
It’s that time of year again when pupils and students want to thank that special teacher for helping them get the grades they wanted, keeping a smile on kids faces all year and for being just simply brilliant! What better way to thank them, than by creating a unique and personalised gift using one of our Apple shapes?! A great keepsake for teachers to look back on and remember fond memories!
Seasonal / Marketing Ideas
Halloween is becoming more popular each year and although it is still a few months away, we have some ‘spook-tacular’ shapes ready to sublimate and use in fun ways for this ever growing market.
We have added a Witches/Wizards hat to our very popular Pumpkin and Ghost shapes, which all come in a selection of sizes so are great for party invites, pub notices and event posters; just use with a dry wipe pen so you can use year after year!
These also look great when used as bunting to decorate windows, entrances and walls, ready for those fancy dress parties! They look great when the shapes are alternated! Our new Witches/Wizards Hatwill also be hugely popular for Magicians and Mystery fans and School of Magic lovers everywhere!
Earlier this year we also introduced the beautiful poppy shape, available in many sizes and perfect for Remembrance Day on 11th November.
Hints and Tips!
In this newsletter we thought we would give you a couple of hints and tips to try and help both new and experienced customers when sublimating onto metal!…
Are your products wasted because the ink hasn’t fully transferred in areas to the metal when pressed?
When placing the metal over the template design, run our heat tape down only one side ensuring it is secure. By doing this you can carefully lift the metal after being pressed to see if the ink has fully transferred and ensuring that little is left on the sublimation paper. If it hasn’t fully transferred simply place back down and press for a few seconds longer until you are happy!
Are you new to sublimating?…
It is a good idea if you are new to sublimation to get a couple of extra shapes/metal to first practice on. Every printer has different profiles and every press varies on pressure, so it really helps having extra practices to get the temperatures and pressure perfect for your product and ensuring the colours and designs come out exactly as you want them to be!

One Item…Three (or more) Ways!
Our house shape is so versatile! It comes in three different sizes – XL (A6), Giant (A4), and Supergiant (A3) – which allows for many different ways to utilise the shape and be creative with your designs! We also designed a product featuring it – our Mini Panel Wall Art to showcase it in a different way!
House Wall Art: This House Mini Panel Wall Art is a great way to display the members of your family, and/or important events in your family’s life! With so many ways to personalise the colours and style of this product, it makes for a very unique home decoration!
As A Bird House: Our Bird House is a fantastic way to add a bit of decoration to your garden! Use this shape to mark the “Bird Feeding Station” or welcome the birds to nest in the Bird House in your garden. Or, if you have pet birds, you can use the house as a sign to display their names and feeding times!
As A Dog Kennel: Dogs are brilliant companions, so why not celebrate them with this Dog Kennel (house) decoration complete with hanging bones personalised with their names? This makes for a special gift for a friend or family member who loves their dog(s). The Kennel itself can be printed with a picture of the dogs too!
