NOVEMBER/DECEMBER NEWSLETTER 2023

We’re entering the final stretch of 2023 – it feels like we say this every time, but this year really has flown right by!

And we have really seen the order numbers ramp up this week ahead of first, Black Friday then Christmas – so please ensure you order as early as possible through this busy Christmas run-in and check our home page and the site message across the top of every page of the site to see our current order turnaround status. (And please, please remember we are closed Friday, so orders placed Thursday afternoon will not be looked at until the following Monday).

Good news!! We wanted to let you know that we have been listening to customer comments (through discussions on our Subli Metals Facebook group mainly and we have also canvassed opinions of many of our top customers to see who they recommend) and have spent time researching adding a new courier service to complement Parcelforce – who, we agree, have let their service levels slip this year, since the strikes of last year.

And we are pleased to announce we have finally managed to get DPD to agree to an afternoon pick up and we signed up with them this week, so will start trialling them alongside Parcelforce sometime next week!

A quick reminder that our Christmas Shutdown will run from Thursday 21st December until Monday 1st January, with us re-opening on Tuesday 2nd January! The cut off point for orders will be Noon on Thursday 21st, so please be kind to our workshop staff and make sure you get your orders in early that week!

We have news of some great new metal finishes – various thickness Double Sided items, 3 Rose/Pink Gold colours and some Economy Steel Sheets have all been added as options to various products across the site – with more to follow!

Our Seasonal section is once again packed full of brilliant Christmas ideas using a range of our products – perfect for any sneaky last minute purchases! Plus some lovely Remembrance Day products…

And for this issue’s project, we’re taking a look at all the ways you can personalise, theme, and market our fab metal Clocks!

November/December Free Gift

In November and December’s orders we have decided to thank you for your custom by including sweet treats for you all! Seasonal/Marketing Ideas

Remembrance Day is coming up soon, and we usually like to feature a few of our shapes that can be used to create some beautiful products.

Poppy Badges are a popular item every year, and we have a realistic style Poppy Shape that can be used to create a range of lovely badges. Just pair the Small or Medium size with our self adhesive badge pin or brooch pin with clutch back to complete the badge.

The Memorial Markers are also a great idea for Remembrance Day. They can be printed up with poems, artwork, personal messages, or even the names of those we are remembering.

Moving back onto Christmas; Baubles are a very popular classic and a must have decoration for the festive season. We have a range of different shapes and sizes when it comes to baubles (plus we have a whole stack of fancy shapes that can double up as a bauble decoration too!).

Our 73 mm Best Selling Baubles are one of the most popular sizes of the baubles we stock – so we offer them in an Xtra Value Pack of 100, or a smaller Best Selling Pack of 20. It is a classic round bauble shape, so we can see why it’s so loved!

The Bauble Barmy listing has a great selection of different shaped baubles to choose from to get you started – these work brilliantly when personalised with names as it becomes a special decoration to be hung on the tree each year!

Our Gingerbread Family Wall Art is such a cute decoration for the festive season! It can be fully personalised for a family with names and photos. Plus, with a choice between our pre-determined sets of Gingerbread People or the option to select your own shapes to add to the house, you can really create all kinds of lovely pieces!

The Hook and Loop Advent Calendars were launched last year and offer an interactive experience. They can be reused year after year, and are a great way of getting the whole family involved each day with adding something new to the scene.

This Advent Calendar could also be personalised with family photos with the end goal of creating a collage style display by Christmas Day… Or it could even make a funny game of match the right face and/or favourite items to each person!

One Item, Three Ways!

Cash Card – A simple but fantastic way of giving a cash gift, the Cash Card can be personalised with names, heartfelt messages, and/or artwork relating to the person it is being gifted to! Simply wrap the note around the bar at the bottom and it is good to go as a fun little gift!

Santa’s Licence – One of our Double Sided Business Cards printed up as Santa’s Sleigh Licence is great for a souvenir for the kids to find (on the floor or even hidden!) on Christmas morning once Santa has delivered the presents! It’s a cute keepsake that can be reused each year.

Gift Card – Our Standard Business Cards or Business Cards with Cut Outs are a great idea when giving a gift that is not physical – such as a voucher, activity, or holiday. They can be designed and printed up as a gift card with all the details of the real present, plus it also acts as a great reminder of the gift!
