Big news this month is that we are very proud to tell you that we have won an award! We are now joint winners of the East Yorkshire’s Small business award. A great boost for the team after all our hard work so far this year!

We had a (socially distanced) garden party to watch the virtual online awards, so we were all there to celebrate when we won! So it was an extra special night!

And also – a heads up for a slight price increase this month across our range of 2-4%.

Summer Shutdown Week
We are giving you a heads up that we’re having our annual summer holiday shut down week this month – Aug 31st to Sept 4th, to give us all some much needed rest! As such, cut off for orders will be 12 noon on Thursday August 27th. We re-open Monday Sept 7th. Order early as we are always hectic, the week before and the week after!

August / September Free Gift
This month we’re giving you one of our new classic ‘label’ Gift tag shapes. We have added 5 new tags – a classic label, pretty vintage style, luggage style, and contemporary circles in 2 sizes, with a natural twine, festive ribbon or ball chain fixing. These are perfect for adding that finishing touch to your gift wrapping for birthdays and of course for the looming Christmas season. We offer them in white 0.5mm as standard and Custom cut in brushed or mirror silver or brushed or mirror gold 0.5mm.

Seasonal / Marketing Ideas
– for our new numbers, letters, words and cake toppers!
We have an exciting new announcement this month – drumroll please!  We are launching our new range of numbers and letters. We know these will be popular as they have been requested many times over the years – so we’ve finally found time (not sure how!!) to add them.
To start with, they come in 197mm high XXL A5 and 125mm high XL – we may add other sizes in the future (if we can work out how to store them all lol). We’ve also added in an ampersand so you can do initials for weddings and celebrations too! They look amazing as single letters on doors or walls in bedrooms or for shorter names why not do the whole name? Whole names also make a stunning wall statement at parties -or for weddings why not do the new couple’s surname printed with a montage of photos of them? We’ve also added 4 new popular WORD shapes in A3 size – MUM, DAD, LOVE and XMAS are great for montages too (it is possible to print these on an A4 printer and small press by creatively splitting your design where the letters join too! we did this on the XMAS word photo shown)

We’ve also launched a complete range of Christmas and number cake toppers too- great for parties, birthdays and anniversaries. These are also fully printable with photos or with a pattern / colour to match an overall scheme. All you have to do is print the topper and push it into the cake for a stunning bespoke centrepiece at an inexpensive price!

Customer ‘Share to win’ photos
To tie in with our Christmas launch this month here are some customer photos showing some fantastic printed items! Firstly Jenny Cole with her pet themed ‘bestselling baubles’ and snowflakes which make lovely decorations or gifts.

FAQs
Can I collect my order?
Yes you can collect your order from our premises in Mappleton, East Yorkshire. We have an onsite showroom too which you can look at when you come to collect and which will give you ideas and inspiration as it has examples of everything we make printed up.

While we do have a showroom, we don’t have a shop on site so orders need to be placed online, as normal, through our site so we can process and check your order as normal (minimum order still applies). So, if you want to collect your order make sure you choose “local pick-up” when you order and then we will let you know once your order is ready so you can come and collect it. If you have time to look round our showroom at the same time we would love to show you all our amazing products ‘in real life’ printed up and on display!

One item three ways!
This month we’re thinking about size and perhaps offering the same, memorable photo, to customers in a range of sizes for different purposes. Here we’ve taken a gorgeous photo of Nicci’s daughter Jacinta (the artist of the family – she designed the new pencil crayonartwork!), with our horses and Clover and printed it in three different sizes.
WALL ART
As Ian Knight showed (March newsletter) our metal looks fabulous as giant wall art – Jacinta’s photo printed as an A2 0.5mm in white is great for a focal piece for a sitting room or bedroom.
COASTER
Coasters are a great way to show off your photos and make fantastic gifts. By cropping the photo carefully into a square shape we have made it ideal for a coaster – shown here in 90 x 90 mm printed on white.
BOOKMARK
A lovely way to keep your favourite photos with you all the time – why not turn them into a bookmark?
We have them from small to tall rectangles to a huge range of shaped bookmarks – including our new Pencil crayon!

As mentioned in our last newsletter, we have had some personnel changes recently, which have been difficult to address with the Covid-19 restrictions but we are now able to take someone new on. So we have a job vacancy for a designer to assist Nicci in the marketing and product development department – so if any of you know of anyone in East Yorkshire who would fancy working for an award winning company in a creative job, we require some software knowledge of design packages and plenty of enthusiasm lol, then please let them know to get in contact with us – the position is full time.
