Project 024: Cracking Christmas Displays!
In this project, we have tons of fantastic ideas to give you a head start on your own ideas and products for the Christmas season!
From new products such as our brilliant Elf on the Shelf Pack and beautiful Standing Families, to already existing products such as the Snowflakes, Christmas Starter and Bumper Packs, Snow Globe, Gingerbread People, Bear, and Penguin – there’s bound to be something that will appeal to all sorts of customers!
The Standing Families make beautiful decorations for the mantle piece and table, and this product gives you room to be flexible with a number of different choices offered to create your own unique piece!
The main focus of this project is the stunning Christmas Table Display (featured further down). We have used a selection of our products to put together a fantastic spread, personalised for the whole family – using our fabulous A3 word shape – in XMAS to create a focus for our display but we also do this in love or family or home, which would also have worked beautifully, printed up with photos from past Christmas get togethers! Hopefully this gives you some inspiration for creating and marketing your own products and displays for the Festive season!
Elf on the Shelf Pack!
The Elf on the Shelf has become a very popular way to celebrate the Christmas period and count down to the big day, but surely thinking of different activities every day for the mischievous Elf to be getting up to can be a little exhausting?
This is a brilliant set that includes some great ideas and props to allow the customer to be creative when it comes to setting the Elf up every day, and hopefully provide them with a good chunk of inspiration too!
Included is a little tin which contains some of his possessions! These include: a wallet card passport, a jigsaw, and a noughts and crosses board complete with little playing pieces. Also included is a selection of shapes to print up with some fab designs such as: Old Paper for a letter from Santa or the Elf, a Baby on Board for an awesome ‘Santa Stop Here’ sign, and more to create a fun Door Hanger, Countdown to Christmas plaque, and decoration for the Christmas tree! Let your imagination run wild!
Standing Families!
Our new Standing Families make the perfect 3D decoration for the table, mantle piece, or desk! At present we are offering them in already determined sets, but we intend on offering a ‘Build Your Own’ Standing Family Listing soon for those who like more customisation…
The MDF Base is available in 3 mm thickness, and with a choice of size and number of slots – 1, 2, or 3! The Shape Sets we are offering so far include: Penguins, Bears, Gonks, and our A6 Letters to spell out Christmas themed words like ‘Joy’!
While you can either leave the MDF Base as it is or paint on it to create a background, we are also offering an optional printable topper in White 0.5 mm that fits over the top of the MDF Base and can be secured with tape. You could even consider incorporating craft materials just like we did in the examples pictured!
New Shapes and Ideas!
Our new Gonk Shape is available in 12 sizes and is a fab shape for Christmas! Gonks are becoming more and more popular as a decoration for the festive season. This shape could also be themed to a different season, be used as an Elf Face, Gnome, or even become a cute Mushroom House! Please send in your designs and enter our fab Design a Gonk! competition!
Another new shape is the Elf Boot! We offer this shape in 7 sizes (and it’s also included in our new Elf on the Shelf Pack!). This shape is perfect for creating great products such as: a dry wipe Christmas List/Gift List, or a Behaviour/Good Deeds Tracker!
Finally, we have a new Girl and Boy Shape – from a Wish List request! They are available in 8 sizes and would make a lovely festive decoration after being personalised with photos and names of family members!
Thinking along the lines of using our metal in more ‘crafty’ ways and not stopping at simply sublimating onto it, a fantastic way of using our metal shapes would be to incorporate them into wreath! In the picture to the side, our traditional baubles have been used to create a beautiful Christmas Wreath – perfect for decorating the door throughout the festive period! Lights have also been added to give it an extra special touch.
Cosy Christmas Table!
We have put together a spectacular blue and purple themed Christmas Table Display! We used a range of products that are available on our website to bring the display to life…
Placemats and Coasters are probably one of the necessities when creating a table setting, and we used the A4 Ricoh size in Satin Silver Matt finish to create these simple but very elegant placemats. The coasters are a new 85 x 85 mm Budget size that has just launched – this is also available in an Xtra Value Pack!
Both the coasters and the placemats have been personalised with names and unique designs to add an extra special touch to all those family dinners, and since everyone has their own set there should (hopefully) be no arguments! We have also incorporated our Supergiant A3 Traditional Snowflake into the spread as a pot stand/display stand for the centre of the table. To finish the look completely, we also made Napkin rings (napkin holders) to match.
Our brand new Standing Families have also been used as accent decorations for the table display! The Penguin set has been printed up with family names to be used as a lovely and personalised decoration – we even got a bit crafty and added gems to jazz up the shapes and add a little bit of sparkle!
This is easily a set that can be brought out year after year, and consider thinking beyond Christmas themes to different broader themes for even more versatility such as Winter, Autumn, Spring, and more…
The Snowman Countdown Set that was launched last year still makes a fantastic addition to any Christmas Display! It is interactive and allows you to move the Snowman’s nose to count down the days as they pass by – perfect for getting the whole family involved and excited for the big day!
