Happy October!

For this update we are focusing on all the fun Christmas ideas that we covered in our most recent project, highlighting our Christmas countdown/advent calendar products and Double Sided decorations!

We haves some brand new products on our website that are ready for you to check out – including a much customer requested Giant paperclip, some ‘sneak peaks’ of items coming soon – and we also have some last minute Halloween ideas for that perfect decoration to wow your customers or decorate your home…

September/October Free Gift

September and October’s Free Gift is a Double Sided White sample of our new Arched Door Shape (complete with ribbon) perfect to be used as a decoration!

Last month we showed it off with a Halloween tombstone design, and now we have a fun Christmas door design! It is this year’s ‘trendy’ shape for your perfect tree decoration, and can be personalised for your – or your customer’s – front door!

New Products!

The Yorkshire Shape is a great addition to our growing landmarks collection. It is available in 6 sizes so you can create all kinds of souvenirs with it! (Fridge Magnets and Keyrings are classic choices). We chose the A5 size to create a fun map of Yorkshire – see if you can spot us! We included the exclusive free download of our hand drawn artwork of this map in our Sublimetals Customer Group last month, so if you haven’t yet joined our group, join now for this type of giveaway content – plus great hints and tips and customer interaction!

Our new Giant Paperclips are fantastic when used as bookmarks! It is a simple yet effective shape that can be printed up in so many ways – choose between Single Sided or Double Sided White in 0.7 mm or 1 mm. It makes an especially perfect gift for both stationery and book lovers!

We have a brand new Highland Cow Head Shape! This is a popular shape out there at the moment so we had to create our own metal version – available in 7 sizes – which you can transform into all kinds of lovely items for your customers. Available in white as standard but also in our new range of autumn toned metals – Brushed Copper, Rose Gold, and Gold – they will make beautiful statement jewellery pieces!

SNEAK PEAK!! They will also be part of our Heritage collection – alongside Scotland, which will be launching soon in time for St. Andrew’s Day!

The new Sunset Sign (a circle over a rectangle) is available in 8 sizes and is perfect for stable plaques, door plaques, and gate/fence signs. The circular section is perfect for any businesses that feature a circular styled logo too! We also have some brand new Themed Signs that work great as door plaques and signs too. The new styles available are: Horse Head, Prancing Horse, Unicorn, and Sitting Dog. SNEAK PEAK!! Some Sports themed signs – Football and Dance – are also coming very soon!

The Arched Door is another new shape which is brilliantly versatile – we designed and printed up an example of a Tombstone for Halloween, and now we’re showing this shape off with a wonderful Christmas Door design! This shape can also be used as a stained glass window, fairy door, or a new home gift with the recipient’s own door printed onto the shape…

We have another addition to our Themed Top Bookmarks – 2 variations of a Hobby Horse Bookmark! We have a wider stick and a thinner stick, depending on your design needs and preferences. These are fantastic to be printed up as either hobby horses or personalised with a photo of the customer’s real horse!

The Hobby Horse is also available in more sizes for all kinds of cool products – pitch it to horse lovers or themed as the classic toy, as a keepsake or perhaps a cake or plant marker. As ‘Hobby Horsing’ is now a sport, there are extra marketing opportunities for this shape!

The new Outdoor Grade metal has been making its way onto a number of our products – especially ones ideal for garden decorations or memorial items such as: Garden Markers, Rail Signs, and Bar Signs. And speaking of garden markers, we have a brand new Bird Marker available in 3 sizes which is perfect for some lovely memorial plaques or cute decorative plant markers!

Last Minute Halloween Ideas…

Halloween is almost upon us, so here are a few hauntingly brilliant last minute ideas if you’re still looking for the perfect decoration…

The Pumpkin and Ghost shapes have both been updated to be available in more sizes! The Pumpkin is now available in a range of smaller sizes making it perfect for cute fridge magnets and keyrings – great gifts for lovers of Halloween and Autumn! The Ghost is now available in larger sizes that are great for wall art, signs, and Halloween themed dry wipe boards!

Our design team members Sam and Cath have used our Magnetic Advent Calendar set in a different ways! Even creating an amazing countdown to Halloween using the A3 House as a spooky haunted house! Though the obvious choice for our Magnetic Advent Calendar and Magnetic Countdown Sets is to create one for Christmas, we think that they also work great for any other kind of countdown – for Halloween, Easter, Birthdays, or even for a Holiday!

The Skull, Skull and Crossbones, and Coffin shapes are amazing as decorations for Halloween. These shapes are among a selection of Halloween shapes that are now available in our awesome array of outdoor grade metals, making them even more suitable to decorate both the interior and exterior of your house for the spooky season!

  

Christmas Countdowns!

Our Magnetic Countdown Sets utilise our brilliant new 0.7 mm Steel! Each of the sets comes with an A4 Ricoh Steel Sheet (with the option for square or rounded corners) and a choice between a handful of small shapes, such as: a Gonk, Fox, Frog, Penguin, and more! Included is also a magnet strip which will be cut to the size of the shape you have chosen.

   

We have also used our Steel as part of our new Magnetic Advent Calendars! You have the choice between the following shapes for the base: rectangle, bauble, house, tree, arched door, or wreath (both in either A3 or A4 sizes), and either circles, squares, or a mix of shapes for the pieces that attach to the base with magnet strips. Cath’s Advent Tree above looks fab!

The Original ‘Split Pin’ Advent Calendar is a little more complicated to put together but makes a brilliant personalised keepsake! After pressing, you assemble the calendar by threading split pins through the holes on each of the bauble shapes and the top layer, then attaching the top layer to the base using double sided tape. Each bauble can then be moved up to reveal the picture underneath!

The Hook and Loop Advent Countdowns are simple to put together, but are no less fun! Choose between the House or Tree (in A3 or A4 sizes) or our A3 or A4 Ricoh as your base. Then select either 24 x Squares or Circles. Each set comes with a length of hook and loop pads to cut to size!

Our Candy Cane Holder can be used both as a Christmas Treat/Reward Board and an Advent Calendar! There are 24 holes provided (all 10 mm) and, despite the name, you don’t have to use candy canes with this product! You could attach other sweet treats using string or pegs… Kerrie from our External Design Team has created a brilliant Pet Advent Calendar using this product! She has attached pet treats to the holes using string, so that her furry friends can get excited for the countdown to Christmas too (one of which is featured in the photo trying to snag a treat!!).

Double Sided and Outdoor Decorations!

Some of our most popular Christmas shapes have now been added in our new 0.5 mm Double Sided White and Bright Silver metal! This includes: the Best Selling Bauble, Gonk, Snowflakes, Bell, Snowman, Bird, Snow Globe, and two of our Heart Shapes – Puffy and Traditional.

They make wonderful decorations for the Christmas tree, and since both sides can be printed on they also make for brilliant festive gifts! You can offer to print a personalised message on the back from the giver of the gift, or you could use that space to display the logo of your business to show who it was made by.

The A3 and A4 Baubles are a great alternative to a wreath for a festive door decoration, especially now that is it also available in our Outdoor Metal! Print the bauble up with whatever design or photos you like and finish it off with lights or tinsel – you could even use the bauble as a wreath centrepiece and build up the rest of the wreath around it…
