Project 015- Mums The Word!

Overview 

Mother’s day is early in the year but if you get started now it can be a lucrative time – many items can be marketed for Valentine’s day then for Mother’s day as well, so two opportunities to sell.
In this project, we’ve tried to pick out some of our products that are easy to personalise and market as Mother’s day gifts…
but obviously there are many more in our range that would be suitable, from dry wipe signs printed as daily organisers and family planners to bookmarks and fridge magnets that can be tailored with Mum designs… We have added a new range of pretty wreaths that can be printed up in a spring theme and customised with flowers and we are also now have a range of flowers and a flower pot design. Either would make lovely “if Mothers were flowers I’d pick you’ gifts – that will last a lot longer than a bunch of real flowers will! We will be adding more as soon as poss, (so keep checking our New products tab – at the top of every page of the website).

Highlight- New add ons to multi charms

Our multi charm key rings are always popular as Mum gifts – shown here in our original format (you can buy these in bulk packs through our Subli Essentials range). As these have proved so popular we have extended the range of charms that can be added to these multi charm key rings and you can also buy additional split rings and standard bar and circle charms individually, making them totally unique! Photo shows the many options that can be personalised – using different shapes, different split rings, extra charms … you can create the ultimate in personal accessories for any cherished Mum to … cherish!

Sell It To Them!

Mother’s day is a very popular gift giving celebration you can personalise for – 3 key areas are:
1. HOME DECOR-Presents that are practical as well as beautiful are always welcome by Mums! So we have our range of clocks, coasters and placemats, but for more unusual gifts look at our new key holders, scarf or lead holders. 
2. JEWELRY-  Pandora hearts remain ever popular. But many of our jewelry items have large areas for personalising too!
3.SIGNS AND TRIPTYCHS- Or how about a decorative sign – Love or Mum are obvious but we have also added new large words-Bath, Family, Welcome & Relax and Home!

New Items
Mother’s day gives you a chance to experiment with some items you may not have thought to market before – Home decor! Clothing and jewelry may be items you already sell , so why not look at our new range of display items and think about theme-ing them for Mum!

SCARF HOLDER Our new scarf holder was suggested by our customer Caroline Hicks, who receives a 10% originators’ discount on this item for her suggestion (her fabulous sample is pictured below). It is a variant of our medal holder – we have just added a different MDF back to make a stronger, more durable item and will be working with Caroline for further suggestions to develop her idea. It is perfect for sublimation as it has a large area to personalise to your customers taste or decor above. In A4 for now – A3 soon! Thankyou Caroline!

KEY HOLDER We added 2 new small key shapes to our range in December last year but we have now extended the range to include larger A4 sized keys with matching MDF backing and small hooks to screw into them after pressing to create Key holders – in modern or vintage designs.

LEAD HOLDERS Both the Scarf and key holders can also be marketed as dog lead holders! Perfect again for mum – don’t tell the kids but the Dog is really her favourite (‘cos they don’t answer back lol! )

Existing Items

We have many existing items that are perfect for Mother’s day. Last year we introduced our cut aboveand cut out ranges which include MUM, MUMMY and LOVE and hearts – any could be used as special keepsake wallet cards or free standing /wall hanging signs. We already mentioned jewelry, very popular for Mother’s day – look at items that can be personalised with family photos (like our pendant with insert rangeshown above). For new Mums, how about offering to print their baby scan photos in one of our beautiful Pandora beads – diamanté style heart is shown in the photo ?

We have introduced some new home decor items, but we have always offered a great range of these – from signs, to dry wipe shapes to storage tins with printable toppers, clocks and tableware – an ever growing list of items that make great gifts if customised or themed to suit your customers’ Mums! Finally (and very appropriate for our situation this year and last lol) we have a range of wine / drink items – perfect for frazzled Mums everywhere (especially if they are home-schooling!) Wine stoppers, wine glass charms, bottle labels and bottle shapes plus hip flasks – all perfect gifts!
